Jordan J. Metzger is a member of the firm’s real estate department. He joined the firm in 2010.

Mr. Metzger’s practice focuses on structuring, negotiating and closing the acquisition, financing and disposition of the full range of commercial real estate assets, including distressed debt and equity and the restructuring of troubled assets and transactions.

Mr. Metzger represents purchasers and sellers in commercial real estate debt and equity acquisitions and dispositions; borrowers and institutional and non-institutional lenders in securitized and balance sheet financing transactions (including acquisition, construction, bridge, mezzanine, preferred equity) and workouts; owners and tenants in leasing transactions; equity participants in joint ventures; and developers in ground-up and redevelopment projects involving office, retail, industrial, multifamily, hospitality and mixed-use projects.

  • a New York investment fund in the acquisition of a defaulted senior loan, assignment of membership interests in lieu of foreclosure, loan modification and loan participation in connection with a troubled office condominium project in Fort Lauderdale, Florida;
  • a New York developer in the acquisition, joint venture, construction and mezzanine financing of a ground-up multifamily rental and retail project on New York’s Upper West Side;
  • a major New York investment fund in construction financing for ground-up development of a mixed-use condominium project in midtown Manhattan;
  • a global financial institution in senior and mezzanine financing for a downtown Manhattan redevelopment of office property into a mixed-use condominium project;
  • a global investment bank in construction financing of a resort hotel and condominium project located in the British West Indies;
